Photographers, here are some fall blog topics you can actually use for your photography business 🍂

Instead of:

🔴 Fall Photoshoot Ideas
🔴 Pretty Fall Session
🔴 Wedding Inspiration
🔴 Cozy Newborn Photos
🔴 My Favorite Engagement Session

Try:

→ What to Wear for Fall Family Photos in [City]
→ Best Fall Photo Locations in [City]
→ Fall Wedding Timeline Tips for Better Photos
→ How to Prepare for an In-Home Newborn Session This Fall
→ Fall Engagement Photos at [Location] in [City]

The goal isn’t to make your blog titles sound more “SEO.”

It’s to make them specific enough for Google to understand and useful enough that your ideal client actually wants to click.

Inside SEO Blogging Blueprint, we teach the framework for turning what you know into strategic blog content that supports your Google visibility and brings in the right kind of traffic.

💬 Comment BLUEPRINT and we’ll send you the details.

This is what most guides won’t tell you about Instagram SEO 👀

It means your whole online presence needs to be clearer.

Instagram can help people notice you.

Your website should help dream clients find, trust, and inquire with you.

If you want to start 2027 with stronger SEO foundations, our Done-For-You SEO dates are opening.

Being your own boss is beautiful, but it is also a lot of learning, testing, overthinking, rebuilding, and choosing to keep going anyway.

Still wouldn’t trade it. 🤍

Rock, paper, scissors trend but make it about SEO. ✂️

The internet loves making SEO sound complicated.

Keywords, rankings, technical fixes, algorithms, blogs… it can start to feel like a giant checklist.

But SEO is really just about helping the right people find your business, understand what you offer, and take the next step.

And when it’s done well, it helps your business:

✅ get found by the right people
✅ answer the questions they’re already searching
✅ build trust before they inquire
✅ and create a steadier source of website traffic over time

Imagine getting inquiries from Google instead of relying on every Instagram post to do the heavy lifting.

If you are ready for a clearer approach to getting found, comment SEO and we’ll send you the details.

1️⃣ Rule 1: Working 24/7

I used to work whenever my clients needed me.

Messages at weird hours? I’d answer.
Emails after work? I’d check.
Random tasks outside of my actual workday? I’d probably do them.

Now I work during set hours so I can enjoy balance!

Being available all the time is not the same as being a better business owner.

2️⃣ Rule 2: Taking every client who reaches out

In the beginning, it can feel like you have to say yes to everyone.

But not every inquiry is aligned.
Not every project is the right fit.
Not every client needs the exact kind of support we offer.

I have learned that protecting the client experience also means being honest about who we can truly help.

3️⃣ Rule 3: Doing everything myself

For a while, doing everything myself was necessary.

Then it became the thing slowing the agency down.

Outsourcing to experts has been such a game changer for Aligned SEO. Every team member brings different strengths to the table, and our clients are better supported because of it.

Growth gets a lot healthier when you stop trying to be the only person carrying everything.

4️⃣ Rule 4: Keep work apps on my personal phone

This year, I logged out of my work apps and emails on my personal phone.

I needed a clear notification boundary.

When I am off work, I want to actually be off. No random email checks. No work notifications interrupting rest. No nervous system spiral because I glanced at my phone at the wrong time.

That boundary has helped me show up better during work hours.

5️⃣ Rule 5: Change my services all the time

I have two tried-and-true services I have offered from the start.

And while my services may change or expand in the future, I stay focused on what I do best and what I know works.

Every new idea does not need to become a new offer.

Sometimes the best thing you can do for your business is keep refining the thing that already gets results.

Comment SEO and I’ll send you the SEO Blogging Blueprint.

You don’t need to keep publishing more blog posts just to say you’re blogging. You need a strategy that helps you figure out what to write, what your clients are actually searching for, and how to get those posts found on Google.

Here’s what actually helped my own photography website bring in more traffic and leads 👇🏼

It was treating SEO like ongoing maintenance, not a one-time setup.

That routine helped my own photography website become one of my strongest lead sources, and it is the same kind of maintenance approach we now use with clients.

So I turned it into a free checklist you can apply to your own photography website ASAP.

💬 Comment “ROUTINE: and we’ll send you My Annual SEO Routine: For Photographers. (yes it’s FREE)

If your About page only talks about you, it may be losing people before they inquire.

People are not just reading your “About page” to learn your life story.

They are trying to figure out:

“Do I trust this person?”

“Do they understand what I need?”

“Are they the right photographer for me?”

“What happens if I book with them?”

So yes, your story matters.

But your About page should also help your dream client see themselves in your work, feel understood, and know what to do next.

Here’s how to make it stronger:

✔️ Speak to their pain points.

Are they nervous in front of the camera? Planning a wedding and feeling overwhelmed? Unsure what to expect during newborn photos? Name what they are already thinking.

✔️ Connect your story back to them.

Share why you do what you do, but make it clear how your experience helps your clients feel supported.

✔️ Explain your process.

People trust what they understand. Show them what it feels like to work with you, from inquiry to final gallery.

✔️ Add SEO clarity.

Mention your photography specialty, location, and the type of sessions or clients you serve. This helps both Google and your dream clients understand what you offer.

✔️ Show your face.

Photos of you, your team, or behind the scenes can help people feel more connected before they ever reach out.

✔️ Give them a clear next step.

Do not let the page end with “thanks for reading.” Send them to inquire, view your services, or explore your portfolio.

Your About page should build trust, answer silent questions, and help people feel ready to take the next step.

This is one of the easiest homepage SEO fixes I do. ⬇️

Your homepage intro should do more than sound pretty.

It should help Google and your dream clients understand what you do, where you work, and why you are the right fit.

A small copy change can make your website feel clearer, more searchable, and easier to trust.
