Coming out of a little social media hiatus to say that yesterday was pretty wild. Washington DC, y’all really showed up in a big way for Babies & Bumps. Nearly 500 of you took time out of your Sunday (and during the World Cup 🤯) to come get educated and find local service providers to help you during your pregnancy and parenting journey. I was able to do a secondary car seat safety demonstration in this city, and the crowd was BIG(slide 3). And speaking of big, I would like to give a MASSIVE thank you to Carly Suterlowe CPST for coming to help. Laney almost did not make this trip due to weather and flight delays, but she showed up to help and was able to chat with caregivers all day to help give them accurate car seat information. Give her a follow, and if you are in the area she is a wonderful wonderful local resource. THANK YOU, and we will see you in a few weeks at KIDZ IN MOTION—and thank you for the pic in slide two lolololol. As you can see in the last photo, Laney DID make it and I was very very very tired by the end of the day. Now I’m off to New York for a couple days and we will see you this coming weekend in Boston!

I’ll say this:  having a HUGE event in Atlanta and then flying to Sweden the next morning to speak at a conference, only to fly back to Minneapolis the morning after the conference for an event this weekend is aggressive.
But Twin Cities, I am here. Babies & Bumps is this Sunday. There are a lot of educational seminars and vendors, you can play with a ton of baby gear in our booth, and we’re giving $14,000 worth of it away.
Come say hi. Make my jet lag worth it. lol

I don’t really have words except that I feel old and I love y’all. Happy SIXTEENTH BIRTHDAY to these gals who made me a Guncle and changed my life forever 🥹. See y’all when I’m home.
A quick update as to what I’ve been doing and what is going on. It has been a very busy three weeks and I have one day at home before I leave again.
👀
1️⃣This weekend we have Babies & Bumps in Atlanta. Come hang because the Atlanta event is always terrific.
2️⃣ The morning after that I fly directly to Sweden to attend the Axkid Child and Safety Conference. I’m incredibly excited to spend a couple days learning over there. They have also asked me to present along with Holly at Safe Beginnings and I am very excited for the opportunity. I will be filming some fun educational content while I’m there, so be on the lookout for that later.
3️⃣ The day after that, I fly back to Minneapolis for Babies & Bumps that Sunday.

Yes, that’s a lot of travel for 10 days and I will be very exhausted, but this isn’t the first time I’ve had a chaotic week. I will see you all in Atlanta and Minneapolis! Feel free to bring me caffeine lolololol

I am still completely in shock from the concerts I witnessed this weekend . I don’t have a ton of photos or videos because I was trying to stay present and absorb as much of this as possible. Truly, a once in a lifetime gathering of some of the most incredible female musicians and artists and storytellers on the planet. I’ll post a carousel of pictures eventually, but until then enjoy this clip of Crowded Table performed by the avengers of music: . This weekend was our FOURTH of FIFTEEN Babies & Bumps events this year. One of the products that we are most excited to have on the road with us is a new car seat from Sweden that I have been waiting and waiting and waiting to come to North America for years. The Axkid One 3 is one of the coolest car seats I have ever seen, has a brilliantly quick install, a 65 pound rear facing limit, and the ability to adjust the seat forward to give your child more legroom.
