WHAT: Reading Event w/ HamLit
WHEN: Thursday, October 1, 7:00-7:45PM
WHERE: Goods Local Brews

Salish Sea Poetry Festival is presenting a poetry walk in Whatcom County’s Fountain District and we’ve been invited to host a 45 minute segment! We’re aiming to have readers share for 4-6 minutes, so we’re looking for about eight readers. So long as you’ve published with HamLit, we’d love to have you read poetry with us (even if you previously only published fiction).

See you tomorrow, Hammies, at our absurdity + dark humor in fiction panel conversation Village Books and Paper Dreams❗️where we’ll dive into *St. Ulphia’s Dead* and the debut release experience with Scott Lambridis, then welcome authors Brittany Micka-Foos (*It’s No Fun Anymore* 2025 Apprentice House Press) and David Beaumier (*The Mourning Fields* 2025 Dark Forest Press LLC) to chat all things silly, brutal, and the universal language of comedic relief. Moderated by HamLit EIC, Rochelle Robinson.

Following the event, we’ll gather at Corner Taphouse for writerly gab and vibes💜 21+
