All our programs are free, and led by trained volunteers who either live with a mental health condition or have a loved one with a mental health condition.

We are looking for volunteers!

Have you ever wanted to tell your story or help other family members? We are looking for people to be support group leaders, folks wanting to tell their lived experience, or even help with social media .

This is just a friendly reminder that ONLINE Family Support Group meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month.

This means the next group will meet on August 5th.

And if you are interested in getting involved with volunteering with our Family Programming, email [email protected] as we could always use more folks, more groups, and more COMMUNITY!

NAMI Whatcom will be at the Bellingham Public Library's SkillShare space (Central Branch) tomorrow the 15th from 10:30-noon!

Come stop by, get some resources, or hangout and color with Brylie.

NAMI Whatcom had such a blast at Pride in Bellingham this weekend.

Walking in the parade and having folks thank us for the work we do in the community was so uplifting to hear.

If you didn't see us along the parade route, come stop by the office or attend one of our groups!

and always remember, you are not alone.

If you missed the July edition of the NAMI Whatcom newsletter you may have missed the announcement about our new Executive Director, Karrie!

We are so lucky to have her and even though Kim is still involved with our community, we wish her nothing but healing and positive vibes and we look froward to new adventures, opportunities, programming to come.

Don't forget that TONIGHT is Waffle Giveback Tuesday at Sweet As Waffles and they will be donating 15% of proceeds from 5-10pm to NAMI Whatcom!

Help giveback to the community, chat with NAMI Whatcom volunteers, and enjoy the SWEET life.
