Did you know? More than 63 million Americans provide unpaid care to a family member or loved one. That's almost 20% of the U.S. population!
Home health care services help caregivers by providing support that allows them to:
- Stay employed.
- Care for their families.
- Reduce stress and burnout.
- Maintain their own health.
- Balance caregiving with everyday life.
When community supports are weakened, more people may be locked up unnecessarily, and that can increase costs for states and taxpayers and place additional strain on families, caregivers, healthcare systems, and local communities.
Home health care services benefit everyone!
