I am an artist based in Bellingham, Washington and I've been creating and selling my art for more than twenty years.
Fat Dragonfly is a collection of mixed media wall art and gift items by Shanni Welsh, including wood panel art prints, frameable print reproductions and home decor items. I draw inspiration from the beautiful backdrop of my home in the Pacific Northwest, with emphasis on the elements of line, texture and color. My art has been described as a blend of whimsical and contemporary folk. I want to inspire children and adults alike to explore their creativity and curiosity. I believe that art, like life, should be full of smiles and laughter! To see more art by Shanni Welsh, please visit:

My friend Trina inspired me to get back into making my own plant milk. Over the past year I started going back to the cartons, but my guilt was eating at me. Those cartons are challenging to dispose of. Plant milk is so easy to make. Literally just use your blender to combined oats, coconut, nuts, etc., and then strain. This batch was a combination of oats and various nuts all of which I keep in bulk because it is less expensive and uses less packaging. And the best thing about making your own plant milk is making crackers out of the pulp.
