A little meet up between the garden and the grocery store made for a lovely bday bouquet this week!
The pansy are really pulling weight when they get those long stems - I feel a lil bad removing them from their pansy pals, but they genuinely thrive as a cut flower. Welcome to the neighborhood pretties!

I created this backdrop for a project with for and I couldn’t love it more!! To be honest, photographing flowers has NOT come easy to me - I’ve treasured each gentle tip and practical guidance toward improving my shots, but often the photo is like “wtf why doesn’t it look like how ma 👀 see it???”
Choosing a fun backdrop has alleviated some of this concern.. maybe it’s because the whole “scene” becomes part of the image and takes some pressure off my high af expectations of the arrangement.
