Our canoe journeys have begun as our friends and relatives make their way to Nisqually for this year's gathering!
Learn more about our connection to land, water, people and place in “West Shore” (2025) – our film following the West Shore Canoe Family on the journey through their ancestral waters during the 2023 Paddle to Muckleshoot.
The film celebrates Coast Salish culture and highlights how journeys strengthen identity, community and the ongoing cultural resurgence of Indigenous peoples across the region.

As we grow from Children of the Setting Sun Productions to Setting Sun Circle, we are building a place that has been missing in our community: a home for Indigenous stories, traditions, creativity and wisdom in downtown Bellingham.
