The Willows - Bellingham

This week was the perfect chance to head out for a picnic in nearby Birch Bay. We enjoyed good views, a picnic lunch, and a wonderful afternoon at the beach! 🐚🌊

What a great 4th of July we had! Everyone showed up at our happy hour sporting their best Red, White and Blue outfits. It was a great afternoon spent on our beautiful patio with friends and neighbors! 🇺🇸

We were out for an afternoon on the water at Beach Cat Brewing, and accidentally walked into their 1 year anniversary party! What a fun and festive surprise 🌺

Spent the afternoon at the blue heron rookery watching the babies peek out from their nests. Warm 75° weather, good company, and gelato to end the day just right. Thankful for all the beautiful things so close to home! ☀️

The heart of our community was on display as our residents shared the programs they love to host, lead, and attend at The Willows at our annual Programs Info Fair! Our Dining Room was filled with connection, conversation, and the vitality that makes everyday life here so special.

This week, we celebrated two amazing women in our community. Joanne turned 102 on Monday, and Betty turned 103 on Tuesday! These two women are the definition of LifeMinded living. We are so grateful for the knowledge, the laughter, and the joy they bring to our community. Here’s to another year around the sun!

This weekend’s Mother’s Day Tea was simply beautiful! 💐A lovely afternoon spent celebrating the amazing moms in our lives with sweet treats, laughter, and special moments together. Happy Mother’s Day!

What an amazing day to be outside giving back! We had such a great time getting our hands dirty at the Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association planting party, helping pot native trees and shrubs for future restoration projects. It felt especially special to do this work under such beautiful sunshine—we’re so lucky for days like this! Big thanks to NSEA for all the incredible work they do and for letting us be a small part of it.
