This painting started this entire new series. 16x20 originally landscape painting on canvas… coming soon

How is it only a little over a week away! I’m putting the finish touches in this new series of paintings.

They are so much more than just “Fields & Wildflowers” these paintings are capturing true moments of peace in a season that’s been difficult.

Each walk, each pause to notice

It was a gift I knew I wanted to share.

I hope when you hangs them on your walls, you bring a bit of peace, wonder and beauty to your home.

If you love those series, please like, share, comment. I love connecting with you all, I’ve had enough alone time in the studio lately :)

The Field & Wildflower collection starts with some looked sketches…

Fueled by lots of coffee and snacks

A camera roll full of side of the road photos and trail walk inspiration

These two are waiting for all the little details to be added but I love the way that have started to come together

It’s the details in this piece that started it all

At the point where i sit with all the different paintings I have and see how they are coming together and the story that is connecting them all

I’m so excited to share this new series with you! Stay tuned… coming this August

“Pieces Of The Whole” 30x40 original painting. A painting for the person looking to bring a bit of nature home with them, a sense of calm curiosity for your walls

An unexpected color palette…

Rich golds, blues and greens

A thrifted pot, my favorite plants, a flower “weed” and of course my coffee found its way into my next painting

Every year I look forward to this is plant flowering along the road side

I didnt plant this color pallet, but today in the studio I stood back and realize it all came together and these colors have been surrounding me for months

Follow along to see how this painting comes together. I’m currently putting the final details on it

When words feel hard to come by…

This painting isn’t finished but, it’s been a reminder to me that everything is only for a season and there is always beauty to be found. The wildflowers will always call to me and be the place that makes my heart find a little peace.

Hoping to complete this painting and a few more like it very soon.
