🌊WCC Engineering in Context students are helping shape the Whatcom Maritime Atlas!

The 2026–27 cohort will partner with regional organizations to help develop an interactive digital storytelling project exploring the history, ecology, and working waterfront of Bellingham Bay. Through this interdisciplinary experience, students will apply engineering, GIS, mathematics, and history concepts while contributing to a regional initiative.

Interested in a career in engineering?

Join a cohort of 24 students with individualized support from six faculty to earn credits in required engineering, English, social science, and a new precalculus for engineering sequence with applied topics in engineering and physics.

This two-quarter experience is a great way to get started on a successful path toward a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.
