Located in the Morgan Block Building since 1969, Good Earth Pottery is one of the original influences to the unique artistic nature of the historic Fairhaven village. Originally established as a cooperative studio space, the business has evolved through its 51 years of varied ownership into a gallery specializing in local ceramic artists. Currently owned by local potter, Ann Marie Cooper, Good Earth Pottery regularly represents more than 40 artists curated from within about an 80 mile radius of Bellingham, and also features several special group shows a year open to artists from across the US & Canada. Good Earth Pottery's wide variety of handmade functional and decorative wares makes it the perfect place to find unique items for all aspects of life.

We have an absolute stunner of a show waiting in the wings! Join us this Friday night from 5-7pm for the opening reception of “One Undiscoverable Guess” by Ayla Mullen 🏺PNW Potter and Botanical Enthusiast. New works inspired by the poem “Here’s to Opening and Upward” by e. e. cummings.
It’s also Fairhaven 4th Friday, so lots of places will be open late!

We’re excited to share that Bellinghamster, Damian Di Nitto, is the newest artist represented by the Good Earth Pottery gallery!
“I am an artist and educator based in Bellingham. I have worked in multiple media, and I’m now
focused on ceramics. I completed my bachelor’s degree in art education and master’s degree in
special education at the University of Montana.
My work explores natural textures that often go unnoticed. Imperfect marks are crucial, because
they allow us to feel a sense of acceptance. My pots are a personal narrative created through
traditional and modern means and celebrating an idiosyncratic tactile experience.”
