Xw’tot lhem Sequoyah Julius is part of the family-owned, tremendously popular Friday Harbor Seafoods. The market is open only during the summer, and is located on the pier, not far from the ferry dock in Friday Harbor. The son of Jay and Heidi Julius, and the grandson of Doreen and Michael Julius, he is an enrolled member of Lummi Nation. I came away from this conversation convinced that he had sunshine running through his veins, as he was genuine and cheerful in a way that seems both rare and necessary.
