Adventure MOB Connects Riders Through Off-Road Exploration
Anthony Sprando’s Adventure Ministries of Bend (Adventure MOB) gets people off screens and onto Oregon’s backcountry trails. Based in Tumalo, it offers motorcycle rentals, day trips, group rides, coaching, training, and events that connect riders from all walks of life.
Sprando started in 2020 after switching from street bikes to dirt riding near home. Learning the local trail systems, he met others and built a community—especially helpful for solo riders or those going through tough times. Friday after-work rides from the Tumalo Country Store remain popular, along with casual faith-based Fire Pit Meet-Ups.
He later closed his AV business to focus full-time on Adventure MOB. He now manages large Facebook groups (Central Oregon OHV and Dual Sport Riders, totaling about 6,000 members) and runs a rental fleet. Local dealers refer customers to him for rentals and training. Sprando coaches riders, creates routes and GPS maps, and leads bigger trips such as Pickett Butte cabin rides and monthly coastal off-road runs.
Father-son rides are among the most rewarding experiences. He also collects and recycles used motorcycle gear through donation bins across Central Oregon, equipping new riders while keeping usable items out of the landfill (helmets are excluded and redirected for art projects).

I cannot say enough about what an absolutely amazing experience I got to have with my son yesterday. Tony, thank you and I frickin love you man. I had been looking for a way to get to ride with my boy. Your willingness to share, be patient and so helpful to us both was incredible. It was both of our first single track trail ride. It was unbelievable. That moment where I got to watch my son make a decision about that hill was Epic. Frickin Epic. He grew up a little bit today and I am one happy, proud dad. And this old man learned a ton from you also. Grateful. Thank you to you and your wife for all the assistance and just a super awesome badass ride. 💪👊 Holy crap that was fun. 🔥😎❤ (It won’t let me tag you Tony, but his outfit is Adventure Ministries.)
