Sports Performance classes here help athletes jump higher, run faster and be stronger!

Getting stronger and faster is important.

Being healthy enough to stay on the field might be even more important.

Ade trained with us throughout high school — both in the off-season and during her soccer seasons.

Now a freshman playing college soccer, she looks back at that training as a major part of what helped her become stronger, get to the ball faster, separate from opponents, and stay healthy throughout her high school career.

She didn’t have an injury that kept her off the field, and she credits consistent training at OC as a big part of that.

One of the biggest mistakes athletes make is treating strength and sports performance training as something they only need in the off-season.

Once the season starts, training often gets reduced or stopped completely.

But competition alone does not maintain every physical quality built in the off-season.

A well-designed in-season sports performance program helps athletes maintain strength, power, sprint capacity, tissue tolerance, and neuromuscular control while managing the additional workload from practices and games.

Research in soccer consistently supports structured strength and neuromuscular training as an effective way to reduce injury risk, especially when athletes stay consistent with it.

The goal during the season isn’t to crush athletes with more volume.

It’s to give them the right dose of strength, speed, and power work so they can keep performing at a high level and reduce their risk of missing time.

Build it in the off-season.

Maintain it during the season.

OC Tweens = working hard, having fun, and building athletic skills the right way.

This program is for ages 7–14 and focuses on strength, speed, agility, coordination, and confidence.

We teach good movement patterns first, then build from there.

The goal is simple: help young athletes move better, get stronger, and enjoy the process.

Next session starts October 6th.

Strong hips matter in every sport.

The 4-way hip machine strengthens the muscles that move and stabilize the hip in every direction — the glutes, hip flexors, abductors and adductors.

Why does that matter for athletes?

These muscles help produce and control force when you sprint, accelerate, cut, jump, land and change direction.

Building strength around the hips can help improve:
• Speed and acceleration
• Lateral power and change of direction
• Single-leg stability
• Control through the knee and pelvis
• Resilience against lower-body injuries

Athletes don’t move in just one direction. We want them strong in every direction.

Build stronger hips. Produce more force. Control that force. Perform better.

Two more OC Sports Performance college athletes squared off over the weekend! ⚽️

Jordan, who plays soccer at Western Colorado, and Abbie, who plays at Westminster, met on the pitch — and were all smiles together after the game.

We love seeing our OC athletes out there competing at the next level, especially when they get the chance to compete against each other.

Great job, ladies! Keep working, competing, and representing! 👏⚽️

Looking for a place where your tween can get stronger, move better and enjoy training?

Our OC Sports Performance Tween Program is built for younger athletes who are ready to develop the skills that carry over to every sport—without turning training into a grind.

We focus on building a strong athletic foundation through age-appropriate strength, speed, agility, coordination and explosiveness.

Just as important, our coaches teach safe movement patterns and proper technique so kids learn how to train well from the start.

What makes the program different?

▪️Experienced coaches who know how to work with young athletes.
▪️Fun, engaging workouts designed specifically for this age group.
▪️Small-group training with plenty of individual coaching.
▪️A supportive environment where kids can build confidence, try new things and learn to enjoy being active.

The goal is bigger than one sport or one season. We want kids to develop the strength, movement skills and confidence that give them a foundation for years to come.
