I’ve always thought one of the most prestigious awards you could win was the AQHA Horse of the Year. It’s voted on by your peers, the very people you compete against all year long, which makes it that much more meaningful.

This year, the top three horses were all by Dinero. ❤️

As a stallion owner, you always hope to see your horses offspring go on to do great things with their riders, no matter what level they compete at or what discipline they choose. To see all three horses by Dinero at the top is pretty incredible.

My dad would have been so proud of this accomplishment. I can just picture us sitting around talking about each of these horses, the mares they’re out of, the girls who ride them, and how each one has their own style of running barrels. We would have broken it all down, talked about every little detail, and probably spent hours doing it. I sure miss those conversations.

I’m so happy for Hayle Stillwell, Kathy Grimes, and Hailey Kinsel. Congratulations to all three of you and the great horses you ride on such an incredible accomplishment!

Somewhere, I know there’s a man who believed in his bloodlines for over 40 years smiling down.

All 3 by Dinero! Amazing 🤩

Congratulations to the 2026 WPRA Horse of the Year, Buncha Dinero, "Piper" the mare bred and raised by Hayle Gibson-Stillwell WNFR Qualifier that currently sits atop the WPRA World Standings.

Cool fact...each of the top three this year are sired by PC Frenchmans Hayday, an NFR qualifier himself!
