Meet Deschutes River High School!
Deschutes River High School brings together the best of REALMS High School and Bend Tech Academy, combining exceptional Career & Technical Education opportunities with a strong foundation in EL Education. Together, we're creating a learning community where every student belongs, develops real-world skills, and builds meaningful connections beyond the classroom. Our students will graduate prepared for college, trade school, careers, and making a positive impact in their communities.

We look forward to sharing our journey with you, including school news, student stories, celebrations, and the many accomplishments that will define our first year.

Schools out, but the learning is still happening! Students from our construction program, along with their fearless teacher, participated in Ready2Respond, a weeklong immersive experience sponsored by
Our students, along with others from across the state, spent the week alongside educators, community leaders and industry experts in a simulated disaster scenario, experiencing what it is to survive and rebuild. Here we see the BTA members of Team Charlie Brown alongside a shelter they built for emergency shelter, medic response, or storage in the event of a disaster. Congratulations, team!

What else are our students up to this summer?

Senior sunset... With a little rain and thunder, but also with good people, making good memories!

Don't forget to sign up for the blood drive! This is our last opportunity of this school year to support the Red Cross! Come on out and help save a life!

Today our students were visited by the Bend PD and their K-9 unit! Students got to meet Maggie, learn about her training, see her in action, and ask lots of questions! Thank you for a great learning opportunity !
