I love dessert. I also care about what I’m putting in my body. And somewhere along the way, I realized those two things don’t have to fight each other. 🥹🍪
I think a lot about the 20-year-old version of me when I’m creating for Sweet Yeli’s. The girl who was scared to eat dessert and thought sweets were totally off limits. I wanted to make the kind of dessert she would’ve been SO excited to find in the freezer aisle — something made with ingredients I feel really good about that also tastes like a freaking COOKIE.
I could’ve created something cheaper to produce and easier to scale, but that would defeat the whole purpose of why I started Sweet Yeli’s in the first place. I care so much about making these cookies with integrity and putting out a product I genuinely feel good about sharing with you guys.
Moderation > deprivation. It took me a long time to learn that. Life is way too short not to eat the cookie and share something sweet with the people you love. 💛🍪
I hope Sweet Yeli’s brings a little bit of joy to you guys too. It brings me so much joy getting to share this little piece of my heart with you. 🫶🏼
