For 19 years, LaQ has been more than a collection of homes. It has been a community built through shared meals, workdays, celebrations, conversations, helping hands, and all the everyday moments in between.

Cohousing works because people choose to participate, show up for one another, care for our shared spaces, welcome new neighbors, celebrate milestones, and keep building the kind of community we want to live in.

Thank you to everyone who helped create LaQ, everyone who has cared for it through the years, and everyone who continues to bring their time, energy, ideas, and friendship to our community.

Here’s to 19 years of neighbors becoming friends, memories made together, and a community we are call home.

Happy CoHoversary, LaQ!

Good neighbors, easy conversation, and one of the best views from the back patio.

One of the best parts of life at Fresno Cohousing is our common meals.

One of the special things about Fresno Cohousing is having a welcoming guest room for visiting family and friends.
It’s one more way community life makes everyday living a little easier — and a little richer.

Potluck follow the tour. No need to bring any food - we will have plenty!
