There is a cup of tea out there for everyone, whether it's a simple cup of straight tea, or a crafted glass of flavored tea. At Asha, we strive to feed (or cultivate) this love for tea by serving you high-quality tea drinks made with fresh, pure and real ingredients. But we also know that drinking tea isn't just about the drink--it's also about where you drink it and who you drink it with. Which is why we designed every element of our Berkeley tea house, from the open communal table and cozy booth seating to the loyalty program and friendly customer service, to maximize your tea-drinking enjoyment. "Asha", after all, is Taiwanese for "someone that enjoys life", and our hope is that drinking Asha Tea will remind you of the things you enjoy about life.

Start your week off with a Jasmine mochi croissant 🥐 by our friends The French Spot, SF & Concord! Vincent and Maria’s pastries have been crowd favorites at Asha SF since 2023, and we’re so excited to bring their viral pastry—the Mochicro—to both stores this week! This buttery, flaky pastry has a chewy, Jasmine tea-infused mochi center 🫖 and is topped with a rich strawberry sesame glaze 🍓. Baked fresh daily using our house Jasmine green tea, with very limited quantities available 9/7-9/11! Shoutout to our friends The Caffè for introducing us to The French Spot, SF & Concord!

A rich, silky smooth cold brew made with ☕️ Mr. Espresso’s Dark Roast Guatemala CODECH, layered with a delectable buttery and earthy hazelnut black sesame cold foam.
Created together with Luigi DiRuocco of Mr. Espresso, this is a twist on the classic hazelnut praline latte where the flavor of the hazelnut is amplified by the earthiness and depth of Wadaman black sesame paste.

It’s cake time! 🍰 We are so excited to share this special strawberry Jasmine chiffon cake from Marykate, a long-time friend of Asha (14 years!). Sesame a tiny bakery pastries are made with all-organic and seasonal ingredients, and are such a treat. These slices feature our fragrant Jasmine green tea 🫖 and sweet Dirty Girl Produce strawberries 🍓. We have a limited number of slices available at both stores (SF starting today, Berkeley starting tomorrow). Eric’s seasonal macaron boxes have been best-sellers at Asha for 5+ years now, and he and David pulled all the stops to offer this decadent treat for our celebration. Made with Shades of Sugar Bakeshop’s fragrant LAFAZA Madagascar vanilla bean shell and our rich ceremonial matcha soft serve.
These are truly a labor of love, and available in limited quantities at both stores (especially Berkeley, where customers got early access yesterday when it still felt like summer here in the Bay Area!). Make sure to snag one before we sell out! 💚

Introducing our first seasonal fruit soft serve flavor! 🍓 Each batch of our strawberry soft serve is made using premium vanilla base from the incomparable Straus Family Creamery, and two pounds of plump and juicy vine-ripened from Okui Farms, a family farm located along the Central Coast. Available only at Asha Berkeley (except Wednesdays)—stop by for a swirl and let us know which flavor you’d like for us to feature next!
