This is a recap of Oasis’ 2026 Annual Community Celebration at Oakstop: We Lift Each Other Up. 🤲

Thank you to everyone who joined us and supported our biggest gathering of the year! This tradition brings together different members of our community to celebrate our victories, while reflecting on what advocacy looks like for LGBTQ+ immigrants moving forward.

Stay tuned as we highlight different parts of our event. ✨

Thank you to Ra So 周裕成 for the beautiful pictures! 📷

¡Gracias a Ra So 周裕成 por las hermosas fotos! 📷

✨We’d like to thank our 2026 Annual Community Celebration sponsors! ✨

Supporting LGBQ+ immigrants should not be brave or exceptional but unfortunately in 2026, it is! All of these businesses and companies have chosen to take a visible stance in support of LGBTQ+ immigrants and provide monetary support for our services. And we are so grateful. 💛

Sponsoring our event is a powerful way to combat the policies and attacks that our communities face while gaining promotional benefits and brand visibility.

☀️ This past week Oasis had our annual all-staff gathering: an event meant to bring our team members together to seed connections and nurture relationships with each other. 🌱

Over the course of two days, we:
🫂 Experienced joy, laughter and connection with colleagues, and
🤝 Learned about our own strengths and the strengths of others, so we can improve team communication and collaboration.

We were too busy enjoying the moment that we didn’t take a lot of pics together! Our work in immigration advocacy is always busy and fast-paced, so here is your reminder to take a pause and breathe.

And a huge shoutout to Oakland Bloom (Oakland Bloom) where we got our delicious food, and in particular Cafe con Cariño (café con cariño) and Cafe Anbesa! 😋
