📍 Koraa Oakland | Piedmont Avenue Night Market

joy \ noun \ happiness, elation, delight — and apparently, a tee we can’t keep on the shelves. We’ve sold over 50 this past month alone! 💨

There’s something about slipping into a cotton tee on a warm summer day. Like joy you can wear.

Come on in and get your dose of joy before it sells out again! Available in both stores or online while supplies last 💗

We’re excited to host an art opening at Koraa during the Piedmont Ave Night Market featuring Oakland artist Jen Peterson of 🌞

Jen’s work is colorful, layered, nature-inspired, and full of softness and texture — and we especially love that the collection makes original art feel approachable and collectible, with most pieces priced between $50–$150 and smaller originals fom $15-40.

We’ll have refreshments, snacks, and a cozy space to hang while browsing the collection.

The Night Market is one of our favorite evenings on Piedmont Ave — dozens of small businesses stay open late with special promos, pop-ups, music, and events happening throughout the street.

Some women will be celebrated this Mother’s Day. Some won’t.

This one is for both. 🤍

For years, we’ve been quietly dropping off socks, diapers and supplies at the — a small thing that always felt like the least we could do. This year, we wanted to do something more.

The WDDC has been part of our community for over 37 years. Three days a week, they open their doors to unhoused women and their children — hot meals, groceries, hygiene items, housing support, and a safe place to land. They serve more than 500 women and children every single month.

So this Mother’s Day, Koraa is donating 15% of sales to them. Here’s how:

🛍️ In store — Sunday, May 10 only
Come visit us in Berkeley or Oakland. Every purchase that day includes a 15% donation automatically — no code, no extra steps. (Free parking behind our Oakland store at 4167 Piedmont Ave.)

💻 Online — May 1–10
Use code WDDC at koraa.co and 15% of your order goes directly to the Women’s Daytime Drop-In Center.

We’re proud of this one. And honestly, we’re grateful to have customers who make it possible to show up for our community this way. Thank you for being one of them. 🙏

If you’d like to give directly, see their wish list, or learn about volunteering, visit womensdropin.org or give them a follow 💗

It’s the last week of our wildly popular BOGO sale! All good things must come to an end, so enjoy the buy one get one free sale until Sunday, April 26 in our Berkeley and Oakland shop as well as online! 👯💞👯
