Achieving Paramedic certification requires countless hours of classroom education, clinical experience, field training, and dedication. We are proud of the hard work they have put in to reach this accomplishment.

🚨 BIG NEWS FROM BIG SPRING FIRE DEPARTMENT! 🚑

Effective October 1, 2026, the Big Spring Fire Department will officially take back responsibility for EMS operations serving the City of Big Spring and Howard County.

EMS services were contracted to Allegiance EMS in 2023, and we are excited to announce that our department will once again be providing these vital services directly to the citizens and visitors of our community.

This transition represents an exciting new chapter for the Big Spring Fire Department, and our members are committed to providing the highest level of emergency medical care to those who need it most.

We are proud to serve the people of Big Spring and Howard County, and we look forward to strengthening our partnership with our community, healthcare providers, law enforcement agencies, and emergency response partners.

To the citizens we serve: Thank you for your continued trust and support. We are honored to answer the call when you need us most.
