Employee Spotlight: Abby Hebl ⭐

As a Civil Engineer, Abby has been part of the Performance Engineering team for one year. Originally from Manhattan, Kansas, she earned her degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

One of Abby's favorite parts of the job is the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects and learn something new every day.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, fishing and traveling. We're grateful to have Abby on the team.

Stormwater infrastructure isn't always visible, but it's critical to protecting neighborhoods, roadways and public utilities.

Performance Engineering partnered with the City of Billings to support stormwater improvements along Wicks Lane and Bitterroot Drive in the Heights, providing land surveying, civil engineering, construction administration and permitting services throughout the project.

Our team remained actively involved during construction, coordinating with the Heights Water District to help preserve and repair water services as needed, supporting communication with adjacent landowners and helping oversee the installation of 54-inch and 48-inch reinforced concrete storm drain pipe.

Projects like this help communities prepare for the future by improving infrastructure that residents rely on every day.

The awards are exciting, but what matters most is what they represent.

As a Construction Technician, Ryan has been a valued member of the Performance Engineering team for two years. Originally from Moss Landing, California, Ryan served in the United States Marine Corps from 2018 to 2024 before joining PE.

One of Ryan's favorite parts of the job is working alongside like-minded people in the field, solving problems and seeing projects come to life from start to finish.

Outside of work, he enjoys fishing and spending quality time with his wife and son. We're grateful to have Ryan on the team.
