The other day, I had the honor of being part of the Fallen Heroes Butterfly Garden remembrance at Keesler AFB and helping pass out butterflies to the families in attendance. 🦋
It is incredibly difficult to watch someone grieve a loved one they lost in service. There really aren’t words that can make that kind of loss easier. 🦋
But I’m so grateful these families are given a beautiful moment like this to remember, honor, and celebrate the lives and legacies of the people they love. 🦋
Watching the butterflies being released was such a simple but meaningful tribute, and I’m thankful I was able to be a small part of it. 🦋
Thinking of all of our Gold Star families and the loved ones they continue to carry with them every day. 🦋
