Horse Riding Academy specializing in the hunt seat and dressage/eventing Welcome to Southern Hills Riding Academy, Inc. managed by Kim and Doug Dyer.
We have been teaching the English forward hunt seat and the classical dressage seat to students in Tulsa and now Glenpool since 1994. We are very active in Recognized Horse Trials also known as Eventing. We host schooling shows in Okemah on our 40 acre show grounds and in our 300’ by 150’ indoor riding arena. Our students come to us with a variety of riding abilities; both children or adults who have never been on a horse to those who are accomplished riders, but wish to continue to improve their skills. We have consistently had kids qualify for the American Eventing Championships, and many finishing in the top 3! We are a full service boarding facility that offers lessons, camps, showing, training, and we have horses for sale at our Okemah facility.

* This is what I have so far…either entries I’ve received or those I’ve heard about from trainers.
* Get your entries in so I can get preliminary ride times out tomorrow evening if possible.
* If you sent an entry but aren’t on this list, let me know. Life has been kind of crazy lately and I need all the help I can get!!
* Also, let us know if you’re open to a Sunday show if there’s too much rain on Saturday.

Get your entries in!!
FYI…I put the wrong name on the entry. Lyn Francik will be the dressage judge.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Our next schooling show in s October 3rd. Sorry I’m so slow in getting the entry out. With the heat, it feels like it should still be weeks away. Let me know if you have any questions. I’m happy to send a pdf version of the entry so it can be filled out electronically.

Need a saddle fitting? Kat Voss will be onsite at our show this Sat/Sun at Southern Hills Riding Academy. You do not need to be a show participant to meet with Kat.
Our HJEO horse show tomorrow is canceled. Did you know you can spell cancelled two ways, according to ai, any english teachers out there, want to let me know if that is correct?
