🚨 TPMS Light On This Morning? Here’s Why! ❄️

When the weather gets colder, the air inside your tires contracts, which lowers tire pressure. Even a 10–15° temperature drop overnight can be enough to trigger your TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) light.

What this usually means:
✔ Your tires just need a little air — not a major repair
✔ Pressure will naturally drop as temps fall
✔ Driving a bit can warm the tires and turn the light off, still a good practice to check the pressure!

Keeping your tire pressure in the right range helps with:
🔹 Better fuel economy
🔹 Longer tire life
🔹 Safer handling on winter roads

If your TPMS light is on and you need help.

🚗 Friday Tip from Advanced Auto Care
Before you hit the road this weekend, check your tire pressure — underinflated tires hurt your gas mileage and wear out faster.
✅ If you’re not sure what pressure your tires should be set to, see the tire information sticker in the drivers door jamb!

Advanced Auto Care Bloomington will be close Monday January 6. We will reopen for normal business hours Tuesday January 7th.

Worst case scenario is rare but possible. Call us before that rattle, noise or light turns into something significant!
