We interrupt our fly fishing posting to let you know about the insane number of birds that traveled over Fannin County (4,287,900) and Georgia (38,455,800)!!! We got bitten by the birding craze. Check out BirdCast Migration and free Merlin ID. You’ll be amazed how it opens a whole new world 🌎 to you. Bird songs and calls you’ve heard for years you can now match to the bird. We are thinking of adding birding float trips since so many birds enjoy the river and habitats along the river banks. Remember lights out at night for migrating birds! 🌅

What a special day on the water with my young cousins Wyatt and Anthony! These guys love to fish as much as I did at their age! Future Fishing Guides most likely! Thanks Uncle Brad for being the chauffeur! Love you guys!

I just love the morning lighted silhouettes this part of the Toccoa River in Blue Ridge Georgia provides!

Scooped up this little darter today on a bug sample for a fly fishing class. I immediately returned him to the water. It was in Fannin County Georgia. Would love to get an I.D. from some of my aquatic biology friends!
