⛳️🏌️♂️ What a day at the 2nd Annual Champions for Children Golf Tournament! 🏌️♀️⛳️
The morning began with drizzle and dark clouds overhead, but by the time our golfers teed off, the weather had turned in our favor. Before long, the sun was shining, laughter was carrying across the fairways, and golfers were enjoying a beautiful day at Old Toccoa Farm Resort.
Most importantly, every player, sponsor, and supporter helped make a difference for local children and teens. Your generosity helps provide hope, healing, and resilience to those who need it most.
🏆 TOURNAMENT WINNERS 🏆
🥇 1st Place Team: Ace Hardware - Blue Ridge
💪 Longest Drive: Debi Wohlers
🎯 Closest to the Pin: Christy Butler
A special thank you to Capital City Home Loans for providing lunch, and to Chick-fil-A for sandwich gift cards for our player bags, and our returning Gold and Silver Sponsors, Southeast Generation & Electric and Red Sail Sports | Grand Cayman, for their continued support.
Together, this year’s tournament raised OVER $30,000 to support the life-changing work of Appalachian Children’s Center and The Open Arms Home for Children, ensuring children and families in our community have access to the services and support they need most. (Final tally to come!)
Thank you to everyone who joined us, sponsored us, volunteered, and helped make this event such a success. 💙💚💛

A meaningful day on the course in support of local children and families.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's Champions for Children Tournament. Together, our members, guests, sponsors, volunteers, and staff came together to support two organizations making a lasting difference in our community: The Open Arms Home for Children and the Appalachian Children's Center.
The Open Arms Home for Children provides residential care, support, and life-enrichment programs for girls who have experienced abuse and neglect, while the Appalachian Children's Center serves children and families affected by trauma through advocacy, counseling, crisis intervention, and other essential services.
From a memorable day on the golf course to a silent auction filled with remarkable sports memorabilia and the excitement surrounding the Corvette raffle, the generosity on display was inspiring.
Most importantly, the event demonstrated what can happen when a community comes together with a shared purpose.
Thank you to everyone who played, volunteered, donated, and supported Champions for Children. Your participation will help these organizations continue their important work for children and families across North Georgia.
