Today, the Phoenix Senior Living family is celebrating Go Gold for Blakely Day—a childhood cancer awareness campaign, celebration, and fundraiser all rolled into one very special day.

We’re going GOLD in honor of Blakely Marinko, daughter of our Founder & CEO Jesse Marinko and his wife Heather, celebrating her journey, her birthday, and another year cancer-free, while raising awareness and support for children and families impacted by childhood cancer.

From wearing gold to Blakely-inspired activities happening across our communities, today is about celebrating BIG, spreading hope, and making a difference together.

What an incredible way to wrap up Assisted Living Week! 🎉 We had a fantastic time at our dirty soda bar, all thanks to Brian Skeoch, VP of Partnerships at Your Health. The bubbly drinks were a hit and added so much fun to the celebration!

A special shoutout to Lauren Shepard for her beautiful performance that brought smiles to our memory care residents. You could feel the joy in the air as she sang!

We also had a wonderful time playing "Guess the Resident" with pictures from different decades. It was a heartwarming reminder of the amazing lives and stories that each of our residents holds.

Thursday during our Assisted Living Week celebration, Pruitt Hospice hosted a delightful apple bar for all our residents and staff to enjoy. Everyone had a blast picking their favorite toppings and creating delicious treats. A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this event so special!

This week is Assisted Living Week, and we are celebrating with some amazing events that bring joy and connection to our residents! On Monday, Willowbrook Hospice treated everyone to a wonderful selection of snacks and even provided "cash" for residents to pick their favorites! Tuesday was a sweet delight as Appalachian Hospice set up a fabulous ice cream bar, where everyone indulged in their favorite frozen treats. Wednesday, Compassus Hospice wowed us with a refreshing lemonade and boba bar, perfect for cooling down and enjoying a delightful beverage. It's heartwarming to see our community come together to create these special moments! 🎉🍦🍋

Yesterday our memory care residents got to soak up some puppy love! The joy and smiles that these furry friends brought were truly incredible. Nothing lifts the spirit quite like the unconditional affection of a playful pup. It’s amazing to witness how a little puppy cuddling can create such genuine moments of happiness and connection! Here's to more pawsitive experiences like this that brighten our days! 🐾❤️

This September, Phoenix Senior Living communities are coming together for a special PSL Pays It Forward project in partnership with Atlanta Mission—and we’re inviting our families, friends, associates and community partners to join us!
Throughout the month, we’re hosting a Refurnish Project Drive benefiting My Sister’s House, Atlanta Mission’s shelter serving women and children as they work toward stability, independence and a fresh start.

Using the QR code on the attached flyer, you can purchase items from our curated wish list to help us refresh and renovate living spaces at My Sister’s House.

Even better? Every item purchased will be shipped directly to Atlanta Mission, and in October, members of the PSL Home Office team will roll up their sleeves and personally help install the items and transform these spaces.

Today was a wonderful day for our memory care residents as we took a trip to the Blue Ridge Creamery! The joy on everyone's faces as they enjoyed their ice cream was heartwarming. For those who weren't able to join us, we made sure to bring back delicious scoops just for them. Sharing sweet moments and creating memories together is what it's all about! 🍦❤️

What an exciting day our residents had yesterday at Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino! The atmosphere was buzzing with anticipation as everyone tried their luck and enjoyed the vibrant surroundings. It was wonderful to see so many smiles and hear laughter throughout the trip. From the slot machines to the dining options, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Trips like these not only create lasting memories but also strengthen the bonds within our community. Can't wait for our next adventure together!
