Last week, we celebrated FCHS Homecoming by dressing up each day. Thank you to everyone for joining in the fun. We had a great week!

📣🌎 Kell received a Positive Office Referral for being a dedicated member of the flag team! He demonstrates responsibility and takes his job seriously. We can always count on Kell! 🎉🐻

💙🐻 Pippa received a Positive Office Referral for being a positive role model. She is attentive and prepared for tasks during the school day. She’s a good listener. We’re so proud of Pippa! 🌎

📣🐻 Logan received a Positive Office Referral for being a hard worker and going above and beyond when completing work. His daily journal work is top notch! We’re so proud of Logan! 🌎💙

Our third graders celebrated finishing Fudge-a-Mania with a little friendly trivia competition to demonstrate their understanding of the novel’s characters, events, and story elements. We wrapped up the fun with homemade fudge inspired by the book! Nothing beats celebrating a great story with good friends and a chocolate treat!

BRES Upcoming Week's Announcements:

-Fall festival tickets are available for presale starting next week. If families purchase online, tickets may be picked up at the front office anytime until the event or at the ticket table at the event. If families choose to purchase in person, they may purchase at the front office until October 23rd or at the event with cash only. To ensure that tickets arrive to families safely, we will not be sending home prepaid tickets with students. Flyers went home in folders with instructions on how to prepay for tickets online.
-ELA tutoring will be after school on Monday, September 21st until 4:30 pm.
-Club Tome will meet after school on Wednesday, September 23rd until 4:00 pm.
-Math tutoring will be after school on Wednesday until 4:30 pm.
-5th Grade visit the Tellus Museum on Thursday, September 24th. Buses will depart at 8:15 am and return to school at 2:30 pm. Any families joining will need to pay at the door.

Post Two of Kindergarten’s visit to Hillcrest Orchards!

Kindergarten enjoyed their visit to Hillcrest Orchards. They had a blast discovering all of the fun things to do there. Look for a second post with more photos of their fun!

Our 4th graders are having a great time exploring their weather unit this month. They’re learning about weather patterns, weather instruments, and weather mapping while putting their knowledge into action. They even had the opportunity to construct their own weather instruments—creating some impressive projects along the way! 🌦️

5th grade signed a proclamation to begin Constitution Week now through the 23rd. Thank you to Daughters of the American Revolution for our providing us with the proclamation and 250th Anniversary bracelets.
