A club is not just a place to spend an afternoon.

For a child living through war and uncertainty, knowing that someone is waiting for them every week can mean more than we realize.

At a Radooga Club, children find familiar faces, caring teachers, friendships, new challenges, and a safe space to simply be themselves.

Week after week, these small moments build something bigger: trust, confidence, resilience, and hope.

And in every club, we want children to discover not only what they are capable of but also the love of God.

Because sometimes, healing begins with having a place to return to. 💙💛

The war will be over.

As Ukrainians, we are We are weary - deeply weary - of the war and everything it has brought into our lives. But we also know that one day, Ukraine will begin rebuilding.

People are already talking about rebuilding cities, businesses, communities, and the economy.
But there is something we cannot wait to rebuild later: our children ❤️‍🩹.

We meet children every week across Ukraine and Europe, and we see the ways war is affecting their childhoods. War is shaping their childhoods, their confidence, and how they see themselves and the world.

That's why we believe Ukraine’s rebuilding must begin now — with its children🧍🏻🧍🏼‍♀️.

Through Radooga clubs, we create safe places where children can discover their potential, overcome challenges, build confidence, and learn that their future is not defined by the circumstances around them.

And most importantly, we introduce them to Jesus — the One who gives them true hope and a place of safety in an uncertain world.

We want children to move from feeling powerless in the face of circumstances they did not choose to recognizing their God-given worth, growing in courage, and taking meaningful steps toward the future.

As a children's ministry, we believe we need to be where children are.

We don't judge the difficult decisions families have to make. We simply want children to have access to the same opportunities for friendship, learning, and support—whether they are in Ukraine or have found refuge somewhere in Europe.

Our teachers often see what children need beyond the lesson itself. For Kyrylo, it was connection with his peers, friendship, and a sense of routine.

Because sometimes a safe place, a familiar face, and one more person who cares can make a bigger difference than we realize.

Stories of neglect, trauma, loss, fear, and little hearts carrying burdens no child should ever have to bear. They didn't choose the families they were born into, the war they are living through, or the pain they face every day.

And too often, they face it alone.

For some, that loneliness is followed by bullying from peers, rejection at school, or simply feeling invisible to the adults around them.

This is the moment when the church and Christian ministries step in, because someone needs to be there for the child right now.

This is where Radooga comes in.

Through our weekly clubs, we invite children living in difficult circumstances into a safe and welcoming community. They come for games, creative activities, friendship, and fun. But along the way, they discover something even greater: that they are deeply loved by God and that their lives have value and purpose.
Healing doesn't happen in a single afternoon.

That's why our clubs continue throughout the entire school year. Week after week, caring Christian teachers build relationships, restore trust, strengthen resilience, and remind children that they are seen, valued, and never alone.

And this is not something we do alone.

Our partners help us develop and strengthen the program. Our sponsors make it possible to bring these healing programs to children across Ukraine and to Ukrainian refugee communities in Europe. And our church volunteers are the hands and feet of Christ, faithfully showing up and building relationships with children week after week.

God is the One who weaves us together into "a cord of three strands" that is not quickly broken. Ecclesiastes 4:12

Together, we are bringing light and hope to children who need it most. 💙💛

During the last two weeks, we spent two incredible weekends with our Radooga teachers in Ukraine and across Europe.

This year, we are expanding our impact on Ukrainian children by welcoming 25 new partner organizations into the Radooga family. That means we're growing from 14 partners to 39!

As we begin this new season, it's so important for us to align on our vision, goals, and approach from the very beginning. While every Radooga team completes 6–8 weeks of online training, nothing can replace meeting face to face—sharing stories, encouraging one another, and witnessing firsthand the passion and the fruit of this ministry.

We spent 2 days training near Kyiv and 2 days training in Poland, bringing together more than 50 teachers. We are starting this season motivated, united, and excited to see what God has planned for our volunteers—and for the children they will serve.

Our mission remains the same: to lead children from trauma to triumph, build their resilience, and empower the next generation to begin rebuilding Ukraine today.

After more than 30 years of ministry in Ukraine, we know this is a bold vision. But as long as we remain aligned with God's plan, we trust that He will bring the fruit.

This week has been one of the hardest weeks in Kyiv since the full-scale war began.

Just as children were preparing to return to school, R@ssia changed its tactics. Instead of isolated attacks, Kyiv is now facing waves of fast-moving attack dr*nes, leaving families with only minutes to reach shelter.

For many children, this means spending most of their day underground instead of in classrooms or on playgrounds. They can't play outside. Parents struggle to work. Teachers try to continue lessons between air raid alerts but it hits level of education for sure.

And this is happening in Kyiv — not on the front line.

Please pray for the children of our Radooga ministry, for our team members' families, and for every child in Ukraine. Pray that God would protect them, calm their fears, and guard their hearts from the lasting effects of trauma.

While we cannot stop the dr*nes, we know that prayer is never powerless.

When Russia launched its full-scale invasion, Bohdan's father was away on a work trip. As the oldest boy in the family, Bohdan became his mother's helper as they fled their home in Kherson, moving from place to place before finally settling in Mykolaiv.

But while he carried responsibilities beyond his years, he quietly grieved everything he had left behind—his friends, his school, and the life he once knew.

At a Radooga Club, Bohdan found something every child deserves: a safe place to belong. Here, he built new friendships, discovered joy in creating, and began exploring God's love through Bible stories.

Today, it's hard to recognize the shy boy we first met. Bohdan is kind, curious, eager to help others, and full of hope for the future.

Every child deserves more than survival. They deserve the chance to heal, grow, and dream again.
