My middle age flex: My bird feeder had six birds on it… and my neighbor’s had none. And listen, I’m not trying to be competitive. But if the birds are choosing sides, who am I to question nature? At this point in life, I don’t need bottle service. I need premium bird seed, a clean feeder, and confirmation that the backyard wildlife prefers my house. Middle age is weird. One day you’re out late doing questionable things… and the next you’re quietly whispering, “Come on, orielos… show them where the good snacks are.”
