Join award-winning author and Appalachian Trail hiker John Turner for his talk about how his 2,298-mile walk from Georgia to Maine taught him about possibilities, frailties, overcoming doubt, and most of all, how nature frames and defines our lives. John is the author of “Killing the Buddha: Walking On through Self-doubt and Aging,” His latest book, “Smith’s Walk,” is a novel set in the future on the Appalachian Trail. Recommended for adults and older teens.
