We made a last minute decision to open the warming center tonight because of the forecasted storms. I am looking for people to donate a meal to the warming center in Blue Ridge for this week. We are requesting breakfast and dinner meals. Please let me know if you are interested in helping.

Happy Friday Morning. As everyone knows the weather is gonna turn cold and our warming center will be open starting tonight at 7pm at the Senior Center 440 West First Street for families, elderly, unhoused and anyone in need of warmth. We will be open 24 hours for the next few days as we continue to assess the changes in the weather. I am looking for people to provide meals (breakfast & dinner) for an average of 15 individuals. Please remember this program is based solely on donations from the community so please consider donating. God Bless you all and please stay safe this weekend.
