Tutoring is no longer a last resort for parents!

Parents are increasingly taking a proactive approach to their children’s education, with a new national survey commissioned by Huntington Learning Center and conducted by YouGov, finding that 6 in 10 parents are beginning tutoring in elementary school.

With this shift, parents are prioritizing academic support to ensure their child develops strong learning habits, confidence, and the skills needed for long-term success.

What's a good SAT score? 🤔

Of course there is an average SAT score among test takers. However, a "good" SAT score relies mainly on your student's individual goals!

A good score is relative to what college your student may be hoping to get into. The more competitive the college, the more competitive they likely need their score to be.

Are your student's scores measuring up? Read our blog on SAT scores to find out: https://bit.ly/3UiC2ET

What's the best time of day to study?

Trick question, there is no one best time to study! It varies based on every individual's specific schedule and needs. Some students are early risers and most alert in the morning. Whereas others are groggy and not fully awake until mid-afternoon. So when should you study?

📚 Study when YOU feel most alert and can concentrate without distractions.

⏳ Aim for 45–60 minute study sessions with 5–10 minute breaks.

🌙 Avoid waiting until the night before to study. The night before should focus on a light review of what you know and getting enough sleep.

Starting the year strong builds confidence that lasts. 💪

School can be similar to playing sports when it comes to confidence. When you’re winning, your confidence is high; when you’re losing it’s tougher to stay confident and believe in yourself.

In sports, coaches help keep your confidence up. Many teams have multiple coaches. In school, there’s one teacher to 30 students, so it’s up to the students themselves to seek help when they aren’t understanding the material.

That’s where tutors come in!

A tutor is like a coach, but for school! Tutors build confidence and make sure your student is learning the skills needed to perform their best whether it’s on tests or homework.

Get a tutor and stay confident!
