The Florida Combined Otolaryngology Meeting is the premier ENT-medical audiology conference.

It is expected to attract over 600 attendees including physicians, PA's, nurse practitioners, audiologists, residents, administrators, support staff, & students.

10/01/2026

What makes FCOM valuable is not just what happens in the session rooms. It is the people you meet, the conversations you have and the relationships that continue long after the meeting ends.

For professionals across audiology and ENT, FCOM creates an opportunity to connect with peers, experts and industry partners in one place, share ideas and find new ways to improve patient care. Attendees consistently point to the same things: strong education, a welcoming environment, meaningful networking and professional relationships that can last throughout a career. That combination is what continues to make FCOM such a special meeting.

Join us for the 30th Annual Florida Combined Otolaryngology Meeting, November 12–15 at Disney’s Grand Floridian.

Dr. Daube is a longtime leader in Florida otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery. He practices in Panama City with Gulf Coast Facial Plastics & ENT Center and has spent decades caring for patients across both specialties. He is also deeply involved in organized medicine, currently serving on the Florida Medical Association Board of Governors and as Treasurer-Designate of the FMA PAC.

He has also been a familiar face at FCOM for many years, contributing to both the clinical and Business of Medicine programming.

For FCOM 2026, Dr. Daube returns as part of the faculty for the Physician Payment & Policy Update, Facial Rejuvenation, and Lessons Learned in Facial Plastics: Discussions with the Masters sessions.

As he says, FCOM is where “you develop relationships and friends that last your entire career.”

That has been part of the meeting for 30 years, and it remains one of the best reasons to come back.

For Dr. Osarenoma “Noma” Olomu, FCOM is about more than education. It is about knowing the people who make up Florida’s ENT community.

Dr. Olomu is a fellowship-trained rhinologist and skull base surgeon at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, where he also serves as Vice Chair for Education and Residency Program Director in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery. He is also the current Secretary/Treasurer of the Florida Society of Otolaryngology and an active part of the FSO community.

As he explains, FCOM gives him the chance to spend time with physicians from across the state, including colleagues he regularly communicates with and those who refer patients to him. It is an opportunity to strengthen those relationships and better know the broader ENT community.

Dr. Olomu will also be part of the FCOM 2026 faculty, joining Sunday’s session on Tackling Recalcitrant CRS without Nasal Polyps.

His invitation is simple: come be part of it.

The 30th Annual Florida Combined Otolaryngology Meeting brings together ENTs and the teams who support otolaryngology from across Florida and beyond, November 12–15 at Disney’s Grand Floridian.

Tinnitus care can be difficult to navigate, especially when patients arrive with conflicting information, unrealistic expectations, or no clear next step.

Friday afternoon at FCOM 2026, Tinnitus in Practice: Evidence, Evaluation, and Management will focus on what the evidence supports and how clinicians can translate that into practical patient care.

Topics include:
• What we know, what we don’t, and what the evidence actually supports
• A clinical framework for tinnitus management in audiology
• Practical steps to take before referring a patient for additional care

The goal is straightforward: help providers evaluate tinnitus more confidently, counsel patients more effectively, and make better decisions about management and referral.

Join us Friday, November 13, starting at 1:00 PM at FCOM 2026.

There is a reason FCOM continues to feel like home for so many in the ENT community.

Matthew Mifsud, MD, FACS, describes FCOM as “the core for ENT in our state,” bringing together academic medicine, private practice, audiology and other members of the care team in one place.

Dr. Mifsud knows that community well. A past president of the Florida Society of Otolaryngology, he now serves as Chair of the Department of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at USF Health Morsani College of Medicine and Chief of the Ear, Nose & Throat Institute at Tampa General Hospital. His clinical work focuses on head and neck cancer, complex microvascular reconstruction and advanced salivary gland surgery.

And he’ll be back with us this November as part of the FCOM 2026 faculty, joining the session on Management of Advanced Cutaneous Head and Neck Malignancy in the Immunotherapy Era.

30 years in, FCOM continues to be a place where Florida’s ENT community comes together with providers from around the country to learn from one another, reconnect and move the specialty forward.

FCOM has become more than a state meeting. For many attendees, it has grown into a destination meeting that brings together providers and industry partners from across the country.

Two longtime exhibitors shared what keeps them coming back each year: the chance to reconnect with current physician customers, meet potential new customers, and spend meaningful time with the broader ENT community. They also pointed to something that has become increasingly clear as FCOM has grown: the meeting is incredibly welcoming, highly collaborative and a strong place to build relationships. It is that combination of education, connection and community that makes FCOM such a valuable meeting for everyone in the room.
