Together, we’re helping hope thrive. 🇭🇹

🙏 October is Pastor Appreciation Month! 🙏

This month, we want to take a special moment to honor and celebrate the pastors and leaders serving across HCM’s 22 churches throughout Haiti.

Many of these men have continued shepherding their congregations through incredibly difficult circumstances. Some have put their own safety on the line to remain with their people. They spend countless hours listening to the concerns, burdens, and needs of those they serve.

And for many communities, a pastor is much more than a spiritual leader. He becomes a solid rock. He is a person people turn to when they don't know where else to go.

When someone is sick, they come to the pastor.
When a child needs school supplies, they come to the pastor.
When a family’s home needs help, they come to the pastor.
When someone passes away, they come to the pastor.
When a family is hurting, they come to the pastor.

These faithful men preach the Word, pray with their people, encourage families, care for their communities, and continue serving even when the road ahead is difficult.

This month, we want them to know they are not alone. ❤️

✏️ Would you take a moment to leave an encouraging message for our pastors in the comments below?

We will make sure your words of encouragement reach our pastors in Haiti.

And throughout this month, as you think of them, please keep them in your prayers. Pray for their safety, strength, wisdom, and resilience. Pray for their families, too, as they faithfully support these men in their calling.

To every HCM pastor: Thank you for standing faithfully in the place where God has called you. We see you. We appreciate you. We are praying for you.

❤️ Happy Pastor Appreciation Month!

🎓 Celebrating Five New Pastoral Graduates in Haiti! 🇭🇹

After beginning their Bible Training Center for Pastors (BTCP) program in 2019, five dedicated men have completed their training in 2026, despite years of challenges and delays. These graduates are now equipped to serve as pastors, teachers, and leaders, faithfully sharing God’s Word and strengthening their churches and communities.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to invest in leaders who are committed to serving Christ and His Church in Haiti.

Thank you to everyone whose generosity makes pastoral training, ministry programs, and celebrations like this possible! Your partnership is helping equip leaders in Haiti and helping hope thrive throughout the country. 💙🙏

📚 Back to School at Chapotin! 🇭🇹

A new school year is beginning, and we are praying for the students and teachers at our school in Chapotin. We pray that God will give teachers wisdom and patience as they guide their students, and that He will give each child a joyful heart, a desire to learn, and the strength to do their best.

We are deeply grateful to our generous donors, whose faithful support helps make education possible for these children. Your kindness provides opportunities for students to learn, grow, and build a brighter future. We also thank the teachers who pour into these young lives each day.

Please join us in praying for a safe, successful school year filled with learning, growth, and hope! 🙏💙

How much do you know about the church in Haiti?

Here are 5 things you might not know:

1. Churches can become centers of support for their entire communities.
2. Haitian pastors often serve far beyond the walls of their church.
3. Many churches are deeply involved in caring for children and families.
4. Education and discipleship often go hand in hand.
5. The Haitian church is full of people faithfully serving God in the middle of incredibly difficult circumstances.

There's a beautiful story of faith being lived out in Haiti, and we want more people to know about it.

Many of you have heard that the situation in La Croix Perisse has become very difficult as exchanges of gunfire between police and armed groups have forced families to leave the community for their safety. The church is temporarily closed, and families have been scattered, with some seeking refuge in Gonaives and others in the mountains.

Even in the midst of this uncertainty, Pastor Noubelson continues to care for his people. These photos are from a Bible study he is holding with church members who have relocated to Gonaives. Another pastor has graciously allowed him to use their church facility on Sunday afternoons so that the displaced members can continue to worship, study God’s Word, and encourage one another.

Please pray for protection, peace, and provision for the people of La Croix Perisse. Pray for Pastor Noubelson as he shepherds his scattered congregation, and pray that God would strengthen His Church and bring hope to this community during a very difficult time. 🙏🇭🇹

📚 School is back in session! 🎒

Across HCM schools in Haiti, children are returning to their classrooms, reuniting with friends, learning from their teachers, and beginning a new school year filled with possibility.

And we want to say THANK YOU to everyone who gave to our A Future Begins Here Education Campaign! ❤️

Because of your generosity, the resources you helped provide are already making a difference as our schools begin the new year. Your gifts are helping provide things like classroom supplies, books, meals, and support for the teachers who pour into these students every day.

We’re still receiving gifts that were sent through the mail, so we’ll share an updated campaign total soon! But we already know this:

Your generosity is helping give children a strong start to the school year.

Thank you for investing in the students, teachers, and schools of Haiti and for helping create communities where hope can thrive. 🇭🇹💙

Today is the day.

Our A Future Begins Here education campaign ends today, and we are working toward our goal of $75,000 to strengthen HCM's ten Christian schools across Haiti.

For Noulialie, it means continuing to learn and pursue her dream of becoming a teacher.

For teachers like Charline, it means having the resources to continue showing up for students who need them.

And for leaders like Brene, it means continuing the legacy of Christ-centered education that shaped his own life.

Every child has a future. Every teacher has a story. And every gift can help make a difference.

If you haven't had an opportunity to give, today is the final day.
Will you help us finish strong?

Thank you for helping us invest in the next generation of Haiti.
