🙏🏾💛 An Update from La Croix Perisse 💛🙏🏾

Thank you to everyone who has been praying for the church in La Croix Perisse. We wanted to share an update and ask you to continue lifting this community before the Lord.

The situation remains very difficult as exchanges of gunfire between police and armed gangs have forced La Croix Perisse Christian Church to temporarily close its doors. Many church members have fled their homes in search of safety, some to Gonaïves and others into the surrounding mountains.

Even in the midst of this hardship, God is providing a way for His people to gather. Pastor Noubelson has been able to meet each Sunday afternoon with those who fled to Gonaïves. A fellow pastor has graciously opened his church so they can continue worshiping together, studying God's Word, and encouraging one another in their faith. 🙏🏾⛪

One of the greatest needs right now is for the displaced families who left with almost nothing. Pastor Noubelson is doing everything he can to help provide basic necessities such as food, clean water, and hygiene supplies, but the needs are great.

Please continue to pray:
🙏🏾 For the safety of every displaced family.
🙏🏾 For peace to return to La Croix Perisse.
🙏🏾 For strength and wisdom for Pastor Noubelson as he shepherds his congregation.
🙏🏾 For God's provision for the families who have lost so much.

The Great Gathering: HCM Annual Convention

After more than six years, something beautiful happened in Haiti.⁠

Pastors, church leaders, and believers from six different communities gathered once again for our Annual Pastor's Convention at Fonds Parisien. For four days, the campus was filled with worship, biblical teaching, prayer, fellowship, and renewed hope.⁠

Nearly 300 people came together, many staying overnight on campus so they could fully participate in every service and training session. On the final day, the celebration grew even larger as hundreds more from the surrounding community joined for a worship service on Sunday.⁠

Events like this don't happen by accident. They happen because faithful friends like you continue to pray, give, and stand with the ministry in Haiti. ⁠

Vacation Bible School isn't just about games and songs; it's about changed lives.

This year's theme reminded every child that they are precious to the Lord and deeply loved by Him.

As God's Word was shared, prayers were lifted, and worship filled the schools, 14 students made the decision to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior.

What an incredible reminder that God is still moving in Haiti.

Thank you for investing in more than an education. You're helping children encounter the hope found only in Jesus Christ.

⛪️ Annual Pastor's Convention Has Returned ⛪️

While food assistance and emergency relief remain critical needs throughout Haiti, maintaining clean, safe, and functional ministry facilities is just as essential.

The campus at Fonds Parisien is where:
📚 Children receive an education.
⛪ Families gather to worship.
🩺 Patients receive medical care.
🤝 Our staff faithfully serve their communities.

These improvements are much more than construction projects; they create spaces where lives are changed every day.

🎶 Can you imagine standing in a room filled with nearly 400 children singing praises to God?

This summer, our schools became places of worship as students gathered for Vacation Bible School across five of our schools in Haiti. Student leaders stepped forward with confidence, leading their classmates in songs of praise while joyful voices filled every corner of the room.

For a little while, the hardships outside those walls faded away. The children were simply free to worship, laugh, learn, and celebrate the God who loves them.

Because of your generosity, more than 600 students experienced a week filled with faith, friendship, and the reminder that they are precious to the Lord. ❤️

Earlier this month, Jimmy had the privilege of traveling to Oregon to attend the Northwest Christian Convention and reconnect with several of our long-time church partners.

Many of these churches have faithfully stood alongside Haitian Christian Mission for years. Jimmy shared that these visits felt less like meeting supporters and more like visiting family. ❤️

Their encouragement, prayers, and unwavering commitment continue to strengthen our mission and remind us that we are serving together for God's Kingdom.

Nowhere is that more evident than in Nan Plaisir, where we've had the incredible privilege of watching former HCM students return to their community as adults to teach, mentor, and serve the next generation. What was once poured into them, they are now pouring into others. ❤️

This is how lasting change happens, not only by meeting today's needs, but by equipping tomorrow's leaders to transform their own communities through the love of Christ.

⛪💛 An Encouraging Update from La Toison 💛⛪

We are excited to share a wonderful update from Pastor Junior Francois and the church in La Toison!

God is continuing to move in this community. The church is growing rapidly, and Sunday services are often so full that Pastor Junior has to bring benches from the school to make room for everyone who comes to worship. 🙌🏾

The school is growing as well, and the trust the community has placed in the church and school continues to deepen. While there are still many challenges, Pastor Junior shared this encouraging reminder:

"We are working to transform the community with the Gospel." ❤️
