The star of yesterday’s virtual team meeting was Jovie and her KSDT work anniversary! We’re so grateful for her hard work, dedication to our clients’ success, and the support she brings to her colleagues every day. Congratulations, Jovie, we’re lucky to have you on Team KSDT!

We also surprised Tricia and Pinali with birthday wishes 🎂 and enjoyed a little fun together along the way.

KSDT recently attended Boynton Beach Government & Community Affairs, where local business and community leaders had the opportunity to hear from Boynton Beach Commissioner Angela Cruz and learn more about current City initiatives and issues impacting the community.

Opportunities like this help strengthen connections between our business community and local leaders while keeping us informed about what’s happening throughout Boynton Beach.

While South Florida may not exactly be feeling the crisp fall air just yet, Patricia Ternus Anderson, EA and Nancy Villarreal are getting into the spirit with quite the fall haul as they prepare for one of our favorite KSDT traditions, supporting Shawna’s Basket Brigade again this Thanksgiving season! 🦃

Each year, members of our KSDT team come together to donate dinner essentials and create baskets for local individuals and families who could use a little extra support during the holidays, including veterans who have served our country and now find themselves in need.

For us, it’s about so much more than filling baskets with Thanksgiving dinner. It’s about sharing kindness, dignity, and the comfort of knowing that your community cares.

We may only be welcoming the first day of fall, but Tricia and Nancy are already making sure we’re ready for a season filled with gratitude, generosity, and giving back.

We can’t wait to see our KSDT team come together once again to help fill baskets, and hearts, this Thanksgiving!

What an inspiring morning at the Golden Bell Education Foundation Membership Breakfast, celebrating more than $150,000 in grants supporting educators and classrooms throughout our local schools! 📚✨

We also loved hearing from two impressive local students, enjoying a beautiful student musical performance, and learning more about our schools from Superintendent Michael Burke.

We’re excited to share that Gigi has been invited to serve on the Boca Regional Chamber’s Young Professionals Network Planning Committee! She recently joined fellow young professionals for an engaging luncheon with Boca Raton Mayor Andy Thomson, who shared his leadership journey, vision for Boca Raton, and encouragement for the next generation helping shape our community’s future.

We’re proud to see Gigi getting involved, building relationships, and representing KSDT among our community’s emerging leaders. 💙 Thank you to the Boca Chamber and Mayor Thomson for a great afternoon of conversation and connection!

Taking a few moments to recognize our people and their milestones is one of our favorite ways to begin our meetings before diving into the agenda, collaborating on client needs, and supporting one another in the work ahead.

Jeff, Debbie, Tricia, and Ilene celebrated another deadline in the books with a well-deserved field trip to Kilwins in Boca Raton! After the long hours and teamwork of tax season, a little ice cream with great colleagues was the perfect way to celebrate. 🍨

Last week in Ohio, we had the opportunity to visit our client, Joe Mineo Creative, and see their creativity in action at the beautiful Lake Club.

After a delicious dinner with Joe and members of his team, we toured their latest project, the newly expanded Shore Club. Absolutely stunning! ✨

There’s something special about seeing a client’s work firsthand and experiencing the passion and talent behind what they do. Great conversation, beautiful surroundings, and even better company made for a wonderful evening by the lake!

Great leadership isn’t about avoiding complicated people, it’s about learning how to work together.

Our KSDT team enjoyed CityLead’s September program, "You’re Too Complicated," and its reminder that different personalities and perspectives can make a team stronger when we learn to collaborate.

We also loved spending the morning with KSDTAdvisors Partners Debbie Eisenberg and Ilene Rosenberg and our guest, State Representative Debra Tendrich, Executive Director of Eat Better Live Better.

Lisa recently attended the Collaborative Training Workshop, hosted by Spirit of Giving. The morning featured a Funders Panel and a timely presentation from Steve Higgins, CEO of Carter Global, on navigating the future of nonprofits in an increasingly uncertain environment.
