Colorado to decide if fentanyl no longer qualifies for misdemeanor treatment in any amount. A proposition before voters seeks to significantly upgrade the criminal charges for possession or distribution of fentanyl. Voters have to decide on more punitive actions and whether to fund additional prison construction.

As the article says, police must "not simply jump on the first easy lead they get," and assume that the computers are correct. Police are losing the ability to assess probable cause and default to the Flock determination.
