With the spector of a Fed rate increase here's some good news!

Starting today, any client currently looking at a jumbo loan could get a better rate than jumbo pricing because of higher conforming loan limits.

Official 2027 conforming loan limits haven’t been released but we’re honoring the following increased loan limits on conventional and VA loans (based on estimates ahead of the FHFA announcement)

As of today, September 16, 2026:
here are the new limits.

$847,440 one-unit conventional and VA* loans (increased from $819,000)
Updated conforming limits are also available on 2-4-unit conventional loans
$1,085,059 two-unit conventional loans (increased from $1,048,500)
$1,311,535 three-unit conventional loans (increased from $1,268,000)
$1,630,005 four-unit conventional loans (increased from $1,575,000)
