Cohen Laser & Vision Center
CLVC specializes in medical and surgical correction of visual disorders using state-of-the-art technologies. Since its founding in 1992 by Dr. G.
Richard Cohen, MD, Cohen Laser & Vision Center has earned a reputation for high-quality evidence-based eye care for patients throughout South Florida and around the world. As the first privately-owned practice in the region to purchase an excimer laser for LASIK surgery in the 1990s, to the first in Palm Beach County to offer the EVO ICL in 2023, the legacy of innovation and state-of-the-art technology has continued with Dr. Cohen’s son, Joshua, at the helm. The entire staff at CLVC, including our expert optometrist Dr. Tracy Kimmelman, believes that the patient experience starts at the first phone call. Our efficient and knowledgeable team ensures that patients feel respected, comfortable, and informed at every encounter. We always prioritize patient safety and satisfaction as our guiding principles. To continue to offer the latest treatments available, an enduring commitment to education and research is another hallmark of the practice. As clinical faculty at FAU, Dr. Cohen often collaborates with medical students, residents, and fellow surgeons to not only adopt but also help develop the next-generation of medical innovations that will improve the lives of patients for years to come.
