What she loves most about her profession:
“What I love the most about my profession is the smile on my clients’ faces when I do something for them. I love when they feel good about my care, happy when they see me coming, and safe when I am with them.”

Her advice to other caregivers:
“Please do the job with your heart. If you don’t want something for your loved ones, don’t do it to your clients. Like the Bible says, do the work like you were working for God. Even if you don’t have a supervisor with you watching, God is watching.”

How she spends her free time:
“I used to enjoy watching TV in my free time, but now I like a great day of rest, self-care, and sleep. With how busy I am with my toddler, school, and work, a day of rest just to sleep and take care of myself is what I enjoy most.”

We’re honored to celebrate two of our wonderful caregivers, Carline Henry and Smaider Charlestin, as they give thanks for their son Carl’s incredible achievement. Their family recently held a beautiful Thanksgiving celebration to honor Carl’s graduation from St. George’s University Medical School and the start of his residency in Family Medicine at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center.
