SLVR 72

Ok, but you know what's really interesting?

The last Empress of China, Cixi, was so enamored with pink tourmaline that she bought massive quantities from a mine in San Diego County, California, and was eventually buried on a carved pillow made of tourmaline.🤣

Pink tourmaline is both pyroelectric and piezoelectric, meaning it develops an electrical charge when it is heated, rubbed, or compressed. Dutch traders historically called it Aschentrekker because the static charge attracts lightweight objects like dust, lint, or hot ash.

Pink tourmaline shares the October birthstone designation with opal and is traditionally given as an 8th wedding anniversary gift.

Pink tourmaline is a vibrant gemstone known for its stunning shades of pink, electric static properties, and rich history & the pink tourmaline charms we have in our studio are so juicy✨️

October babies, this is your sign to shine & come add a pink tourmaline gem to your next permanent bracelet💞
