Yesterday marked the end of my 2026 wedding season - what a sweet one it was!!! 13 beautiful days & couples, words will never be able to describe the gratitude I have for being able to be a little part of your story! I have so much love for each of you & am so excited for all the years of adventures you have ahead of you. The best is yet to come! Thank you 🤍

This was my busiest wedding season ever, and doing it while pregnant with my 2nd kiddo wasn’t always easy. I genuinely wouldn’t have been able to do it without some amazing people who helped me on a few days. You kept me hydrated/fed, were my extra hands, and overall a huge support system. Thank you!!!

Lastly and biggest shoutout is to my husband, who kept things running in the craziness of the last few months. I went from horrible morning sickness in my 1st trimester right into wedding season. He drove me to Seattle and Northern ID, kept our house put together on the busy weeks, solo parented on many of the days I was gone after working a full week himself, and helped me emotionally/mentally on some of the tougher weeks. Thankful everyday to share this life w/ the best person I know!

I have a few mini sessions for some of my sweet repeat families over the next few weekends, and then I get to see my brother get married in October (shoutout to IDAHO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER for photographing it so I can enjoy the day)!! Besides that my 2026 season is over, and I’m looking forward to having an open fall to soak in lots of family moments before we become a family of 4 🤍

For 2027 - I am taking on significantly less while we adjust to having 2 kids! I’ll be taking on 3-4 more weddings, all local to the treasure valley or McCall (no travel fees). Looking forward to the days I’m already a part of for next year! 🤍

Late night post because I get to share some pics as a client!! I messaged Maddy a year ago that I was expanding my garden and when I got it planted & cute I wanted her to take our fam photos in it. A year later, she freaking DELIVERED (and these are only some of the sneaks 🥹). I feel like as a photographer it’s easy to take for granted what we do & how our images can make the people in them feel. I grew up helping my mom in her garden (she’s forever my biggest inspo for my yard ideas!), and I wanted to experience that with my kids. So I created this garden as a place to nurture & learn with my kids, and to provide home grown food for my family - flowers are an added bonus for me! Its my little oasis I go to when I need to clear my mind & do something with my hands; where I go with Skyler to find wiggly worms or cut bouquets for his grandmas; where we spend most evenings having water fights and playing with the dog. I wanted the happiness it brings me & the love I feel from my family to be captured in photos and I’m so excited that she was able to do that 🥹 will never be over these!!

I always talk about how special it is to document anyone’s wedding day, but today I want to talk about how special it was to document the wedding of one of my best friends 🤍 not only being able to see her get married, but also be a part of all the little moments of the day for someone you know so well just adds a little extra magic to the process.
