Finished with this one. 👌 Thankful for some amazing clients and the opportunity to bring their vision to life. Feels like stepping through a time machine when you walk through the front door. This house was the original model home for the Crane Creek development many years ago. How cool! Still pinch myself every day for the fact that I get to wake up and build things for a living. 🙏

Just a glimpse into this kitchen I wrapped up recently with . Love that stone and that classic Sub Zero is just so awesome. 🤘

Something else I finished up recently with . Interior and all the drawers were pretty custom to make layout work with the plumbing, mirrors and sconces. But hey, that’s what I do. 😉 Turned out great!

Anddd we out of there. Another dreamy mid-mod kitchen here on the bench with . I worked in a few fun touches…peep the integrated toe kick grill and Frank Lloyd Wright inspired double front. Guessing that’s not the last lasered front I’ll integrate into my work. Back to welding like mad in the shop!

Mudroom is looking CLEAN. Had a fun time with this one. Custom cut outs, rounded accents, push to open uppers, lots of fun details. On to the next.

Wrapped this up yesterday. Vanity, desk and a little wall nook/cubby. Can’t wait to see the bathroom all finished up. 🔨👌

Pantry and coffee bar wrapped up on the bench. 🤘 “Japandi” minimalism was the influence for the design, represented in the neutral tones, clean lines and integrated pulls. Love the grain patterns on this. Another happy (repeat) customer!

Hey look at that, a custom set of cabinets for our own house! 😉 Been a while since I built a piece of furniture or some cabinets that we get to enjoy ourselves. The final piece to the puzzle, some special bi-fold hinges, came in yesterday so I was able to wrap it up. The last thing I built was our vanity. I posted things to my story of the process but I don’t think I ever showed off the finished piece, I’ll have to do that.

If you live on the Boise bench, chances are your home is like ours and has almost no storage. Amazing how many homes I’ve been in and projects I’ve been on where the only storage is a coat closet and maybe another closet at the end of the hallway (like ours!). With a couple of kiddos running around now, more storage is a must. This single floor to ceiling cabinet added almost 40 cubic feet of storage to our kitchen/dining area, which is about 30% of our total kitchen storage.

Always fun stopping back by a job after it’s been lived in for a while. All the hard work fulfilling its intended purpose, every nuance an addition to the character of the piece. Tailored to the interests of its owners, I feel like Tolkien himself would have enjoyed this room and got a kick out of the Morse code “Wander” hidden amongst the shelves, a nod to his time serving as a signals officer in WW1. Thankful for every opportunity to work with such wonderful people building custom pieces like this. 🔨
