Associated Insurance Services
An independent insurance agency serving clients throughout the West since 2005. Insurance companies' appetites for logging business are frequently changing.
We were founded in 2005 to help loggers in Idaho find insurance solutions for their niche industry. Since logging is a higher-risk operation than the typical business, it can be challenging to find the right coverage and pricing. We've specialized in logging and the forest products industry since day one. After a few years, more and more logging clients were asking us to help insure their homes and personal autos, other businesses they were involved in, and they were referring friends and neighbors our way. We expanded and fully diversified our agency in 2010, doubling our team in just a few months. Today we offer a wide range of insurance products. We are able to help almost any business or individual with their insurance needs and we represent some of the best insurance companies in the marketplace. We are an independent, Trusted Choice-member agency, which means we have a commitment to excellent service and industry best practices. We continue to grow and improve our services year after year. There's lots more to come! We are exceedingly grateful to our clients, especially our early logging clients, for their support.

Construction risks don't always end when the project is complete. Completed Operations Coverage can be critically important even years after a job is finished. 🚨 Before you clear a sewer line, here's one important phone call to make!
Have you ever heard of a "cross bore"? Many property owners haven't, but understanding this hidden hazard could prevent a devastating accident. A cross bore is when a natural gas line is unintentionally installed through a sewer pipe during trenchless construction, and it usually isn't on a map.
This means that if a rotating cutter is used to clear a clogged sewer line, the gas line could be cut, putting natural gas into your sewer system and creating a risk of explosion, severe property damage, serious injury, or even loss of life.
We believe that helping our clients and communities stay informed is an important part of managing risk. So, if you own a building, manage property, or perform contract plumbing work, here are some safety tips to keep in mind:
☎️ Call Intermountain Gas (or whoever your natural gas supplier is) at 800-548-3679 BEFORE clearing a sewer line. In southern Idaho, Intermountain Gas will locate and mark the line for free.
⛔ Never clear a line until you know what the clog is.
‼️ If you notice bubbles in the toilet or smell gas, evacuate the building immediately! Leave the exit door open if possible, and call 911 and Intermountain Gas from a safe distance.
Thanks to Intermountain Gas Company for the info! You can learn more about cross bore safety here: https://www.intgas.com/safety-education/cross-bore-safety/

This 25th anniversary of 9/11 is indeed a solemn day. We remember and honor the 2,958 people who died in the attacks, the many tens of thousands whose health has suffered since, and the millions whose lives were never the same.
Twenty-five years later, we remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Associated Insurance Services is a proud sponsor of Dozer Day Boise, and if you have kids, clear your calendar!
📅 Saturday, October 3rd & Sunday, October 4th
🕚 11 AM – 4 PM
📍DTEC: 3324 S Milwaukee St, Boise, ID 83709
Presented by NUCA Southern Idaho, this is the one weekend a year when kids climb into the operator's seat of real heavy equipment, including dozers, excavators, loaders, and dump trucks, with seasoned industry pros showing them how it's done! 🚜
We couldn't be happier to support an event that brings together families and industry professionals for a weekend of fun and hands-on learning. We work with the contractors and operators who build the Treasure Valley every day, so seeing a kid's face when that bucket finally moves is pretty hard to beat 🤩
Even better, the proceeds go to the Boise Burnout Fund, Hope House, DTEC, and local schools 💚
You can find tickets and more info at idaho.dozerday.org 🦺

Happy 60th anniversary to the Associated Logging Contractors - Idaho! Megan Page, Jordan Schram, Harrison Collard, and Emily Schneider enjoyed celebrating with many of our client-owners over the weekend in lovely Orofino, Idaho. It is important to us here at Associated Insurance to show up for our clients and communities. 🤝
As a part of our recent company retreat, our team spent time volunteering at The Idaho Foodbank. Through community partnerships, the Idaho Foodbank provides food to over 179,000 people each month, across all of Idaho’s 44 counties.
In addition to volunteering, we made a $1,500 donation to support the important work the Idaho Foodbank does in our Idaho community!
We loved the opportunity to give back, and to act out our mission statement, Elevating Our Clients and Communities.

Spring is a great time to think about flood insurance! Flooding can happen anywhere, and since there is often a 30-day waiting period before coverage kicks in, it’s one of those things you won’t want to procrastinate! 💧🌦️
We have multiple flood insurance options for your home or your business, and we are here to make it easy. Send us a message, and let’s talk about getting you covered! ☔️
