Coming in October: Workplace Advocacy for Employment Leadership (WAFEL)

Day and Time: Every Thursday from 6:00 PM to 6:50 PM (Mountain Time)

Where: Virtual on Zoom

What is WAFEL?

WAFEL is a 6-session virtual course offered at no cost to LINC’s Ticket to Work participants. Each workshop is 50-minutes and balances learning and practice. Participants will build practical workplace self-advocacy skills, such as how to request accommodations with clarity and confidence. Employees who practice self-advocacy are more likely to receive promotions, build stronger work relationships, and experience higher job satisfaction.

The 6 topics will be: Self Advocacy, Knowing your Rights, Performance reviews, Knowing your Value, Building Relationships, and Toolkit: Practical Skills for Career Success
