Pretrial arguments are underway as Boise-based Albertsons is suing Kroger for $600 million after their merger fell through in 2024.

Albertsons is also arguing that a key consultant for Kroger destroyed notes that would have helped its case, and wants a judge to assume that the missing notes would have helped Albertsons and hurt Kroger.

Fleet Feet Treasure Valley Idaho, a specialty shoe store that first moved to the Treasure Valley in 2015, now has a third location off Whitewater Blvd. in Boise.

The new store will also have a “chill zone” for runners and walkers to gather before and after being on the Greenbelt. It’ll have 24/7 keycode access, an espresso machine, shower and bathroom access, and long-run supplies on hand (gels, socks, anti-chafing products, and more).
