This is Thalia. Currently my biggest sand boa. She is pushing the record for a sand boa at almost 1300g.
The xray is from mid May and as far as I can tell, there was no evidence of fetal development.
So I put Sobek in with her just to see what happens.
The photos were from this past weekend. She has some significant scale separation and feels awfully lumpy for a non gravid snake. 🀣
I may be up to my ears in baby snakes soon.

Now that I have a bunch more babies to raise, I should list the last four from last year. They are out of Polyhymnia and Jack. Poly is one of my bigger girls, so the two females from her could potentially be large as well. πŸ’œ
#1 & #10 are female
#12 & #20 are male
12 is only eating live, the little stinker. 🀣

Calliope and Hephaestus are parents! 30 small but healthy babies! 19 paint and 11 normals. I can't wait until they shed in a week to see their beautiful colors and patterns!!

I have a friend looking to give away a Sand boa enclosure, all the bedding, decor and the "scales" that are inside it. She is about 3 years old and I think a visual normal. I produced the baby back in '22-23. I don't currently have pictures, but can get them if needed. Local to Caldwell.
Reach out if you'd like more information.
This is the litter she came from.

I finally have a sign and a branded table cloth thanks to the hard work of my husband. He put up with my vague directions, forgotten projects and last minute desperate attempts to get something delivered on time for a show. I feel like a real breeder now 😍
I will have some of my adult sand boas for scale and introductions. And I have a dozen babies looking to complete a reptile family. Come down and visit with me 😁 πŸ’œ

I got a new toy! A bigger, sturdier light box. It's got lots more backgrounds and light options. It'll take me a while to find the right settings for different snakes. 😁

Another expo is done and it's time to put everyone away and rest up. We had a wonderful show. Lots of educating about the wonderful world of sand boas and many new friends! Thank you to everyone who stopped to say hi and get to know Thalia, Jack, Skadi, Sobek and Henet.
Looking forward to the February show. See you next time!
